38 concerts, five major European cities, and a presale that is sending travel searches through the roof: since the Oasis tour 2027 was announced, flight and hotel searches for the concert cities have surged – according to current search data, Glasgow is up by more than 2'400 per cent, Manchester by 846 per cent, Rome by 659 and Barcelona by 655 per cent. So if you’ve managed to get a ticket – or you’re still trying – don’t leave flights and hotels until the last minute: prices for the concert weekends are already climbing.
Which concert city is the cheapest from Switzerland?
The good news: no fewer than five tour cities can be reached nonstop from Zurich, Basel and Geneva. Munich is the price champion – by train from Zurich, you’ll be there in around 3.5 hours and can skip the flight altogether. Barcelona and Rome are the classics, with flight times of around 1.5 to 2 hours, Paris is even reachable from Geneva by TGV, and Amsterdam is often surprisingly cheap from Basel. Our tip: don’t just compare flight prices, compare the whole package – in Rome, hotels on the concert weekend are often twice as expensive as in Munich.
Timing is everything: when should you book?
Concert trips follow a clear pattern: straight after ticket onsale, flight prices for the concert dates rise by 20 to 40 per cent within just a few days. Then the market settles down, until the second wave of price increases begins around eight weeks before the concert. The booking window with the best chances: now until four weeks after the announcement. For hotels, the rule is simple: book refundable rates while there’s still plenty of choice – if you don’t get a ticket after all, it won’t cost you anything.
The Reisedrop way: two clicks instead of ten tabs
Instead of comparing flights, hotels and prices across ten tabs, you can simply enter the concert city in our search – you’ll see flights from all Swiss airports and hotels with final prices including all fees.
